CLICK HERE TO BUY THE BOOK: amzn.to/2vI17e8 - From street gardens in Los Angeles to grand country estates in Australia, The Planthunter is a visceral and immersive exploration of the exceptional and ordinary ways people around the world find purpose and connection through the act of gardening.
The Planthunter is a new generation of gardening book for a new generation of gardener. It explodes common perceptions of what a garden is and can be, and it encourages readers to fall in love with the natural world by falling in love with plants. It’s for the plant curious, the plant killer, the plant lover, and everyone in between. It's also beautiful-jam-packed with soulful and considered stories that are visually supported with hundreds of lush photographs by Daniel Shipp.
“Connecting with plants-whether gardening, bushwalking, painting or writing, "writes author Georgina Reid, "is both deeply intuitive and an incredibly important source of nourishment for the human spirit. I wondered if the lessons we learn from plants and nature can transform our relationships with ourselves, each other and the world around us.” According to The Planthunter, the answer is a resounding yes. Get the book, join the community, and see the world in a new way.

These look like they'll take much more maintenance than a conventional lawn.
What's that, an advert for a course?
Hi, I am looking for that for a long time now (Thyme). May I ask you for some seeds? I am from the Philippines. Thank you in advance.
They are so lovely, their bits of grace make everything so entertaining
Yes.

How do you kill green carpet rupturewort, it's destroying my lawn!!! I'm Serious
Wow that is so lovely
In my first work I always used Woodglut plans.
You're not getting very good replies!
For people who have dangerous critters lurking in a wild flowers or grass covers, may optimize yards with stones ,just be sure to put weeds barriers ,i did that mistake ones -the best barriers ---- for surprise, cardboard need to go 1 st then regular weed fabric then whatever you like - you can make great unique landscape with stones instead of flowers and around trees ,and put containers with anything to grow - guarantee NO MORE MOW ...no more waterering and with solar powered landscape light and containers - i had our done around the house DIY ...
Ladybugs are also beetles but there not actually true bugs.
Could you provide detail on the filler plants used? From notes taken during your video...Creating succulent corsage or boutonniere requires Spiral
Ok so if 99% of insects are beneficial then why is the 1% still doing damage to my garden?
I never liked succulent arrangements before I started watching you do them. I actually did my very first one the other night. And I just did another one in an abalone shell with tiny cuttings from a 100-year-old jade plant!! Having to stay inside because of covid has made me have to use my imagination LOL. Deborah you have not changed a bit in 10 years! ❤️
how early would you make these to have them prepped before the wedding
I m far from darjeeling how van I find the beuti ful sacculent ?
Great little ad. Saw the book being recommended elsewhere. I'll do it.
Thank you for sharing Debra...I am a beginner and I cannot wait to learn more from you. God Blessings 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Shitty ass video didn't told how to attract bugs
I get too many timber rattlers and copperheads if I don’t mow my grass.
How lucky you guys are to have all these items, covers, as prices you can buy... here those things are very expensive.
Hola k bonitas tus plantas te felicito te recomiendo mi canal gracias soy de colombia
How to keep it in door?
Is this an advertisement for your book? Or is there another video?
Looks like a video to just promote her book as there is no second video showing how to incorporate these no mow lawn ideas. I won't be purchasing the book because of this.
TFS from Korea❤️
Show lindooooo de mais 👏👏👏👏
My problem is with rattle snakes. I have plenty of rattlers. I like to see where I'm stepping on.
dichondra or other mat forming low plants.
Same here, copper heads.
@Alyssa Reeder I've kept snakes most of my life and have kept most of the Pituophis which includes Bull, Pines, and Gopher snakes. They do not eat other snakes as a normal part of their daily lives.
You are an idiot. Simple.
sick-and.-tired-of-bush
Wasp from the Subfamily Pemphredoninae commonly called aphid wasps can be attracted to the garden by providing them with wooden nesting blocks with 2mm to 4mm diameter holes drilled in them. Drill the holes as deep as possible without going all the way through shallow holes may get used but deeper is better. They nest in a similar fashion as mason and leafcutter bees sectioning off and stocking their tiny holes with several aphids per chamber for their larvae to eat.
Impresionante de verdad 👄👄👄👄😨😨😨😨😛😛😛😛😛
so beautiful
These are beautiful, but you can no longer use your yard anymore. It’s basically plant/flower overgrowth or manicured landscaping. No more kickball/running around etc for the kids.
Would you simply reserve part of your yard for such outdoor activities? That is what I will do, but I have about 1.5 acres.
In Southern California, the standard lot is not anywhere near the size of your yard. So Joe's comment is appropriate.
Something to consider for sure, but for those of us with large portions of unused lawn and no kids, this sort of thing makes sense. What point is there in constantly mowing over an area you never use?-
Isn't the purpose of public parks to give families a place to do such activities? We don't all need our own swimming pools...why do we need our own soccer fields?
I'm sure this is not for everybody. All the space I have is on an incline, I can't wait to try some of these ideas on some spots, I have the yard but it's not possible to play any games on it, not even to have a picnic without rolling down :) so my lawn is just a lot of boring ass grass!
That damn harmonica....
Here is hot & steamy Miami, Florida. I was in San Francisco last week & love the beautiful weather & all the big, beautiful flowers & plants..you are lucky & every plants grows...
Buautiful arrangement really so quite succelents
